Events 30 & 31 repeating over & over ??

Hello,

Our FMP server event log shows that event ID 30 & 31 keep occurring for every file on our server, over & over again. It seems as though each file is cycled through these two events constantly throughout the day. These events are not initiate by any users, as they are occurring constantly (from early in the morning on). These are happening so frequently and so fast, that our logs are being rewritten.

Has anyone else seen this happen? If so, why is this happening? Is this a problem and how to we prevent this?

Even though these are informational events, our server group is concerned. I'm fairly new to filemaker, so I'm not sure where to begin.

I assume you see an event 89 and 90 also. This is filemaker cache flush occurring.

Something like this:
Event 89: Cache Flush Starting
(*You see 30 and 31 for every Database hosted on Server*)
Event 30: Pausing writes
Event 31: Resuming writes
Event 90: Cache Flush Completed

Cache Flushing is setup in the Filemaker Server Console under Filemaker Server Properties / Files. Grouped under Database Cache. Their you tell Filemaker to flush the cache every X amount of time.

Thank you John! That was in fact the issue. It was caching every 15 minutes! That's what happens when you're thrown into a new product with no training.
