If you just press the copy icon of the event you can then paste into an email like this example

If you are talking about having an applicaiton monitor you events an notify a help desk, you may want to look into something like LanDesk or OPenview

I believe this is what you want..
This is a resource kit utility that dumps the contents of your event log to a text file - which can then be exported, sorted, manipulated, emailed, etc..

MonitorIT does it and a lot more. It's a bit of a setup, but does quite a bit more than just report event ID's. Well priced too.
