Running windows XP Pro on a 60 GB Western Digital HD.
I started getting this error message in Event Viewer about a week ago on my home PC.
"The device, \Device\Harddisk0\D, has a bad block."
Shows up about 15 times in a row tho I haven't (yet) noticed any problems with it. Ran chkdsk and scandisk and both said it was fine.
Any leads here would be helpful. I checked Google and all I saw were errors related to BU tapes and DVD drives.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have the disk configured in a single partition as "c:" and it's an IDE drive. I have a promise IDE controller as well, which acts like SCSI, but it runs other drives which I am not having problems with. Jordan MCP, A+
