Event Viewer - 1001 error every 5 minutes

Ive been getting a 1001 SceCli error every 5 minutes in my Application log. Ive looked online and cannot find anything that works. Here is the error details. Any ideas?

Security policy cannot be propagated. Cannot access the template. Error code = -536870656.

Have you check with eventid.net? Check your Resultan Set of Policy MMC and see if it reveals any other helpful information.

More details please? What OS & Service Pack are you getting these errors on? Is it just one system, or multiple?

Ive checked with eventid.net and every other site I could find. Ive tried various things from registry edits to I cant even remember. Ive had this problem for awhile and figured I would give you guys a shot at solving my problem.

Its 2003 Server Enterprise with SP1. It gets the same errors on my secondary domain controller too. It has to be something with AD or the policy but Im stumped as were many others with the same problem.

sounds like your group policy is hosed, try doing a gpupdate /force from the command line, if that does not good, run gpedit.msc and load the default templates onto each dc manually, then reboot each and gpupdate each again via the command line.
