Event to trigger report; Distributin list based on report info

Hi

We use CE10 and CR10. This request is seperated into two sections.

1) Our database is populated with different types of warrantees. When either a 1, 5 or 10-day warrantee appears, then this should trigger a report to be generated only when 1, 5 or 10 days appear in the database.

2) The 1, 5 and 10 day warrantee, which is now run, should then be distributed only according to reciptients in a specific division. For example if 1day warrantee appears in the database then the report should be generated. If it relates to the Aviation division, it must be sent to Joe Bloggs, if it relates to the Equine division, it must be sent to Sarah Smith.

Is this (or any part of it possible), even using bolt ons?

I believe it can be done with a file event. You would need to create three database trigger's (one for each warrantee) that would generate a file every time one of your warrantees appear in the database. When CE sees this file it would then trigger the report - You would also need 3 different reports scheduled (for each division) -

Kind of a high overview - Oh, after the report is ran, the file generated would need to be deleleted.
