Event server - wildcard input will only trigger once

Hello,
I have a system of three watches which all trigger on the same wildcard input file. They also have a second input trigger which has a static filename and is unique to each watch. Both wildcard files are deleted on a successful run.

The trigger will fire once for the appropriate watch, but only once. When subsequent inputs are created the maps do not run unless the second trigger file (the unique one) is renamed or resaved.

Anyone have an idea what causes this situation to occur?

It requires the time stamp on both triggers to change before the map will run.
