Event Manager process idsmai32.exe

Does anyone know what the process idsmai32.exe does? I know that it's part of Event Manager. It's using up a good deal of my processor when it runs.

idsmai32.exe is used to send email from Event Manager, if you find that this process is running frequently you may have some triggered emails with errors. Please check the monitor to correct those issues.
