I know that you can view the event logs from a 2K server from a remote pc as a domain admin. The question is can you give a user the rights to do this without having to make that user a domain admin..? If so, how? Basically i want to allow the user to view the event logs with as few additional rights as possible.

You can use the Event Viewer MMC on a remote client to open all logs on the 2k server except Security.
