When i installed arcserve to the server, this information type message started to appear, and it's gettin to be an annoyance. Started to look around but to no avail.. you are my last hope... the description says "The application,,generated an application error The error occured on 3/1/2002 @ 8:23:56. 31 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 6368c975(MatchExactGetIDsOfNames)" The error message is ad verbatim... what to do?

Not sure...Arcserver frequently comes out with patches. I would go to and download the latest updates for Arcserve..
Short of that, I would uninstall arcserver, re-run what ever service pack you are on Windows NT and reinstall ARcserve (you can save your jobs and restore you arcserver database after..) then update ARcserve to the latest patch.
I use Arcserve 6.61 and 2000 on my serves, I don't have any problems with it. Joseph L. Poandl
