My domain controller is Windows NT which is also primary Wins and Dns. I have 2000 server that is secondary Wins and Dns running. Since May 23 I receive an event id of 2006 on the NT server which says "Incorrect format from '2k server'. The server received an incorrectly formatted request from '2k server'". (This is within the system event log.)
I only found information online that noted it may be caused due to a corrupt SNMP registry hive, and to remove and reinstall SNMP.
Does anyone know if this is correct, or is there another solution?
