In backing up a client's Exchange server, running Windows 2000 Server, Exchange 2000, ArcServe 2000, and ArcServe 2000 Backup for Exchange, we're getting failures every time ARCserve tries to backup the public folders. In addition, at the same time the event log is filled with multiple errors listed as Event ID: 2 (which I can't find any reference to from Microsoft). The error states..."The Exchange IFS failed to commit changes to the database for \DOMAIN NAME\PUBLIC FOLDERS\Folder Name\No Subject-8.EML because of error 80030009. changes related to this object may have been lost." What the heck is this!?
