Event ID 17055

Good morning all,

My application log get full every two days, this is due to the following information being logged every 5 secs.

User: backup
Event ID: 17055
Description

Login succeeded for user "domain/backup" connection trusted.

I have gone through all the settings in Arcserver but cannot seem to find anything to reduce the frequence this account logs on.

My servers are Win2K3 Enterprise Server SP2, running Arcserve R11.5 SP2 connecting to a SQL 2000 database.

ARCserve will login to the database when a job is being configured and with each backup.

Perhaps this user account has operations beyond ARCserve's use of it.

Since the event is a record of a successful operation it might pay to just check SQL configuration to not send an event when a successful login takes place.
