When ejecting tape on W2K Advanced server, I get BSOD and error: C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CMD.EXE SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\VIRTUALDEVICEDRIVERS.VDD
Virtual Device Driver format in the registry is invalid.
Looking in the event log, I see:
Event ID 133
Source: Removable Storage
Request refused to hibernate\suspend. One or more apps have active connections to this service.
This was working fine up to a week ago. Nothing has changed on the server to the best of my knowledge. I updated the driver for the tape drive, but this did not resolve the issue.
Any suggestions?
