Hello Everyone,
I'm running the Windows 2003 Server Active Directory with 2 domain controllers. I recently added a Dell PowerEdge 2850 as a Terminal Server for about 20 users using the Wyse v90 thin clients to connect to it. On most case, when the users logon to the TS server, the Domain Group Policy is applied without any problem. Sometimes, in an period of about a few hours, they would have problem applying the Domain Group Policy and the logon scripts won't execute. It would take them about over a minutes to try to logon and only the Local GPO was applied. I also get these error message in the Application Eventlog as follow:
Event ID: 1030
Source: UserENV
Descriptions: Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. Check the event log for possible messages previously logged by the policy engine that describes the reason for this.
Event ID: 1219
Source: Winlogon
Logon rejected for CRG\pkaur. Unable to obtain Terminal Server User Configuration. Error: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
Did you ever run into this problem?
Thanks.
NL
