Event ID 1030 & 1058 Causing Printing Problem

Hello,

I have regular issues with event ID 1030 and 1058 this is causing some client computers not able to print.

Can you help?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I get this error on isolated few PC's and the error reads like this (The HP laserjet printer driver is not installed on this computer. some printer properties will not be accessible unless you install the printer driver. Do you want to install the Driver now?). Meanwhile this is a Network printer.

I have a program that need administrative privilege to run and most of the users on my LAN needs this program.

Regarding the event id issue do your clients have issues mapping drives or with slow logons as well?


If your users are not admins but an application requires admin access there are a few options, you could give the users write access to the areas that the program needs to access e.g. C:\Program Files\Softwarename. Or you could use a runas wrapper like 'Runasuser'.
