has anyone ever had this problem?

An ambiguous Mailbox Guid <id> was found on <number> mailboxes in the DS. The store cannot map this Mailbox Guid to a unique user.

Explanation
More than one mailbox is using the same GUID. The store cannot convert the mailbox GUID to a distinguished name because of the redundancy.

User Action
Resolve the ambiguity. One of the two objects has an incorrect GUID. Determine which object is incorrect and either delete and recreate the object or disable or take other steps to reset the mail information.
