EVENT CAPTURING IN NETSCAPE

Hello
I have captured document's onmousedown event in Netscape. I have written onmousedown event of an anchor in that document. When I click on the anchor, document's onmousedown event is triggered but I want anchor's event call. What should I do ? Plz help

i'm not shure, but imho u r able 2 handle onmousedown rite in anchor tag

(smth like this: <a href=&quot;#&quot; onmousedown=&quot;alert('lala')&quot;>link</a>)

it does works for me...
