I have a network comprising of a Head office and 10 remote locations. At the HO there are 2 DC's, the remote offices are connected via high speed links and consist of one member server in each location. Out of the 10 remote locations, one of the servers is a DC. Im getting the event 1054 error on all the member servers and not the DC's. I've researched the error on numerous sites but with no resolution. I'm sure that DNS is not the reason being that each member server is a DNS server itsefl. I really do not want to promote the member servers to DC's. Is there a way that I can rid the servers of this event error?
