Evaluation of Shadow Copy?

Hello :0) Has anyone had a chance to evaluate the fors and against of using shadow copy for shared folders, i have enabled shadow copy on a volume with the shadow copies being saved to another volume. All seems to be working fine....My main concern is that if we were to offer this to shared folder users, more than one user has access to a share and any of the users can accidently restore the whole directory within the share overwriting other users updates further below the directory. Has anyone looked into this?

Also is there a way to extend the number of shadow copies 64 if you have plenty of free space where these are saved?
