euro symbol will not type in Lotus Notes R4.6 within Citrix ICA client

We have LAN users typing and printing the euro symbol in Notes R4.6 without problems. However, 15 of our users are on a WAN using Citrix ICA clients and the euro symbol will not type in Lotus Notes for them. I have tried all the recommended fonts and run all the latest service packs on the Metaframe server, including NT euro patches.
I would really appreciate some ideas!!
