Euro currency symbol not printing

We have a problem regarding the symbol for the Euro-currency (€). It is displayed within the mails and documents but you can't print it. Any solutions?

Check for updated printer drivers.

I already checked that with our printer 'Guru' - all our printers are up to date with the latest printer drivers. We tested on several of our printers (different brands, different models) but we couldn't get out one €-sign on any of them.

Can you print it off this browser screen or other apps? and What version of Notes are you using?

We can print it from every other application (browser, MS-Office). I currently use Notes client 5.0.8 but we tested with several versions (5.0.7, 5.0.5, 5.0.4) - to no avail.

OK two solutions that might help. Convert all text from notes std. "helv" to Garamond. It will usually print in this font.

Or, and you can check with your printer "Guru", set printer settings so that truetype fonts print as graphics.

Both solutions have drawbacks but both should also work.

The Garamond solution didn't help - instead of printing the € it now displays and prints a small square. I'll try it on a different PC now with different windows fonts. Perhaps this will work.
