For a few days now, any e-mail links in Eudora will no longer open the corresponding web page.

Instead of the IE browser, a small pop-up window comes up when clicking the link that says in it's title bar:
Choose programm to open Then it asks to Look in a file, etc. just as if I where trying to open a saved file.

I checked all options in Eudora (which have not been changed) but cannot identify this problem.

Has anyone seen this before and how can I go back to just clicking a link and the web page opens. I'm baffled. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Sounds like something changed the association of a URL. You can reset this within IE->Tools->Internet Options->Programs. Make sure there is a check-mark in the "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser", save the changes, then restart IE and Eudora. This should fix it.

hi,

if the link suggested is an offensive link, try downloading spybot and running it. You may have some addware/spyware installed.

(
of course there are other tools too, but imho spybot is the best.

good luck
