Eudora on Mac

I have been using versions of Eudora on Mac for years. Since recently upgrading to 5.1, every time I try to attach a file to an email, Eudora crashes and I get a type 2 error warning. I then tried using version 4.3.3 and the same thing happened.

I have tried rebooting with only 9.1 base extensions and still get the same result. Anyone have an answer?
