Eudora not sending outgoing mail on VISTA

I use Eudora 7.0 and my main email is flightline.com. My OS is Vista. A few days ago Eudora quit sending outgoing mail. The error message says Could not connect to mail.flightline.com Cause: connection timed out. It connects to mail.flightline.com to receive incoming mail just fine. I chatted with Verizon who provides my DSL - they had no clue. I called Flightline and they blamed it on Eudora & said to call them and see what SMTP server they are using. Anyone know?

I have the exact same issue on Windows XP. I have Eudora 7.1 Sometimes it sends mail, but most of the time it does not send mail. It receives mail okay. I also called Verizon and they said it was not their problem. I called Earthlink who is my mail server, and they said it was not their problem and to re-install the Eudora software. I re-installed the program and it still does the same thing. I called Qualcom and they no longer support their Eudora email software.

Does anyone have any information on how to resolve this issue.
