Eudora In Box

Deleted messages keep reappearing in my Eudora 6.1.2 in box. I often have 20 to 30 "new messages" when I enter Eudora that I deleted the day before. I use MailWasher as a pre filter before downloading messages from my ISP, and the repete messages never show in MailWasher. Any suggestions on getting rid of this annoyance?
