Eudora copy and paste issue

Eudora 4.3.1 issue:
When ever I copy the text of an email received and paste the text into a new outgoing mail, the text default to symbol font. Is there a way to change the Default text to arial or some other legible text?

Have you gone to /Tools/Options/Fonts and tried to set up the various fonts you can change there?

Next go to /Tools/Options/Styled Text and check (if it is not so already) "Send both styled and plain text" box.

Hope this helps. If none of the advice you receive here works, you might have a Windows Clipboard, NOT Eudora issue.
