Eudora can't send mail through AOL dial-up connect

I am using AOL dial-up to access Internet. My Eudora can receive mail without problem. But it can't send mail. The error message is like 'can't read from network, cause: connection closed by host server. (0)'.

I use company mail server IP as the outgoing mail server IP

AOL doesn't allow you to send through an external mail server. Usually their mail servers hijaack/proxy the connection and deliver for you. I haven't used them in a while tho.

hi...there is an easy tip for all users of AOL...(I`m one..lol)

if you use a personal mail server which sends email directly from your PC....all you need is to be online, whether its via AOL or anyone else...
