Have tried to get Eudora to work with SLL with no luck.
Here's text of Qualcomm's tech support email:
>> With OpenSSL0.9.6c the OpenSSL developers added in a CBC countermeasure, which Eudora and some other applications have issues connecting to. With OpenSSL0.9.6e the OpenSSL developers has put an option in OpenSSL to disable the CBC countermeasue, which you will need to do to allow Eudora to use SSL on that server.<<
Not too many admins are gonna attempt suicide by shutting off a security feature, just so Eudora works. Unless the developers update it to work with OpenSSL, chances are Eudora may not work with your ISP's implemented version of openSSL.
