I have Eudora 7.1.0.9 on both a Vista and XP laptop. Both are attached to the same router. XP works perfect but the Vista Business machine has a problem sending emails that are responses, have modestly long threads, or have some formatting. The error code is 10053. The only way to get the email to send is to either shorten it, send it as plain text, or copy it into a new email. If there is a queue of emails to go out, nothing after the "damaged" email will go either.

PS I tried to register for the Eudora forum at eudora.com but for some reason I keep getting an email saying I don't qualify...

While it isn't a fix, I found that using the "Styled" button when sending vs "plain" or "plain and styled" has the least amount of time out errors. No idea why, just does.

PS Still can't get registered for the forums at eudora.com. I have tried all 3 of my email accounts and different names and keep getting an email that says I am not qualified to join the forum...
