eTrust Internet Security Suite compatibility issues?

Posting here since this seems to be the only forum related to CA.
Does eTrust Internet Security Suite have compatibility issues with browsers other than Microsoft? (i.e. Mozilla Firefox and Netscape) Does its Anti-Spam only work with Microsoft Outlook & Outlook Express or Instant Messenger? This is not what there ad says, but my experience and comment from their tech support seems to imply this. Does Anti-Virus not work? HOw can Anti-virus be pretending to download updates in the middle of the night when the computer is OFF and not connected to the internet? When AV update download is attempted, it either returns Üp to date' or spends an hours supposedly downloading, ending with "fatal error 3" (and no update).
I can get no sensible answers from their "tech support" people.

Hey farmor, you may have to look at CA's website and dig down deep to find their forums. Looks like this CA forum isnt visited alot.

I run CA's Inoculan at work and it works with Firefox and other email programs. Although this is Inoculan and not the Internet Security Suite. I think their site their is my-etrust.com or something, but you may want to look at their coporate site and visit the forums there. Sorry I cant be of further assistance.

One thing about the downloads though is that alot of times at work the computers auto-downloads fail quite often with server timeouts.
