Etrust 7.1 vs dual core

After scanning my dual cores have high cpu usage +/- 50% even after reinstall and all the applicable updates, does anybody have the same problem?

Yes - CPU usage does go high on any processor. That is the way the product is designed. On the same note, Symantec is a better bet because it neither uses so much memory nor does it freeze due to high CPU utilization.
