ETR PORTS TO T/R PORTS

Hello

I have a situation on a merlin magix ck5 magix 2.0
i programed one of my last 4 ports on my etr card to be a t/r port and it works fine however when igo to access a line it gives me dead air
heres what i programed
the system is set up for key mode
there are 6 lines in the system
i programed all lines on my t/r ext
i programed auto line selection to access fromline 6 back to line 1
so when i go off hook on my single line phone i can see one of the lines go off hook on a digital phone i can even put that line on hold by flashing the line but i dont hear the dial tone
the cards in the system are as follows
magix proc on a legend backplane
1 408 gs/ls
2 016 etr
1 merlin messaging
1 008 gs/ls
ANY IDEAS AS TO WHY I DONT HEAR THE DIAL TONE

Do you get system dialtone if you set your auto line select to pick one of the intercom lines??

sorry but i wont be back there unti next week

but here is what i programed
last port on 016 to be a t/r port which works if i program auto line selection to be intercom i can call other ext

then i programed all the lines to apper on the single line ext

when i give auto line selection to these lines thats when i can see im grabing the line but i dont hear dial tone

thats all i programed

i also checked to make sure there were no restrictions on that ext
