I have a problem with Ethernet connection to the NIU board.I set up the IP address 192.168.1.101, mask 255.255.255.0 to the NIU board and in the niux commands the response to the ping 192.168.1.101 is "Machine is alive". I have tested the cable between my computer and another one. It's O.K. I can't receive any response from the NIU board even the green led is blinking on the board. I have restarted the board, I changed the position but with no effect.
Please give me an advice!

What is the IP address of your computer? Is it in the same subnet?

Are you using a hub or switch between the PBX and your computer?

Hi,

If you want your NIU to be reachable from another subnet you need to set the GATE parameter with the IONPC command.

If you have tested the cable between two PC's and it worked it most probably is a crossover cable. So, if you are connecting the NIU to a hub / switch you will need a straight cable.
