I am using sco openserver 5.0.4 on Acer Altos 330 server. There is one specialix 8-port card through which terminals are attached. The server is running fine. I need to configure the ethernet card of the server. When I install the driver for the card(intel e100b), it gets installed as per procedure. When I run netconfig, it shows the driver for the card.As I try to add the card, it asks for bus no., function no., etc.Evn if manually given, there is error shown :
No protocol stacks on this system are supported by the adapter.

and the installation gets aborted.
Any one having clue to this problem....?

Thanks In Advance

You need a more current driver.

Go to ftp://ftp.caldera.com/pub/openserver5/drivers/OSR504/network/ and download the pro100b driver.

Also- that "no protocol stacks" bothers me- I havn't seen a Host system in some time, but something very much like that is what you get if yiu try to configure a nic on a Host System

SCO sells both Host and Enterpridse versions. Host ONLY allows serial networking- no tcp/ip. If that's what you have (check in "custom" ) you need to upgrade to Enterprise.
