etherchannel and VLAN no VIOs

Hi

is it possible to use VLAN on top of a etherchannel interface ?

i have 2 interfaces ent8 and ent10
configured as a etherchannel ent12
i then configure ent12 with VLAN 930 (smit vlan)
that gives me a new interface ent7
i then set an ip address on en7

i have searched the internet but all the examples is only
configuratoions with etherchannel and no vlan.

i dont use a vio server.
aix version is 5.3

IMHO I think your configuration should work! Have you tried to use your newly configured en7?

works fine for me, etherchannel, and vlan with ip address on vlan eth..
