Hey,

When I run iwfconfig I get:

eth1 no wireless extentions

All the reading I have done points to recompiling the kernel with wireless support enabled in the kernel. That's great, if you know how to recompile the kernel with wireless support.

Can someone post detailed instructions on how to do this?

(enable wireless support in the kernel, recompile the kernel and in "Networking Support" enable "Wireless LAN")

Thanks!

Ok, I'll check that out.

What is the command to work with the .deb file?

man dpkg

e.g.: dpkg --install some_file.deb

dpkg --contents some_file.deb

BTW, I guess you have Debian or some distro debian-based. Try:

[tt]apt-get install ndiswrapper-util[/tt]

Cheers.

follow the link of my first response. (the page for ndiswrapper). there you will find how to download it.

Cheers.
