Problem connecting to datasource:
I have a 'Microsoft ODBC for Oracle' datasource set up on my Windows 2000 machine that points to an Oracle database on a UNIX machine.
When I use the Database Wizard in the ETD Editor (eGate 4.5.3), and try to connect to my datasource, I get the following error message:
------------------------------------------
Unable to connect to MyDataSource: (0)
------------------------------------------
(Note: eGate can see that there is a data source called MyDataSource on the local machine, but just cannot seem to connect to it - I have checked the login parameters already)
I have checked that the datasource is set up correctly as I can connect to it using SQL-Plus.
Is there a step I am missing? Do I have to set up the data source within eGate somehow?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
