Hi
I have a server code that listens on port 3000
and I have
in /etc/services
test_server 3000/tcp
and in /etc/inetd.conf
test_server stream tcp nowait root /usr/mlc/tools/server

I rebooted the Solaris box and when it's up,
I tried telnetting from a different host to this
server host.

All this server does is send the string "Hello, World!\n" out over a stream connection but I keep getting reject
bsc# telnet 203.8.22.95 3000
Trying 203.8.22.95...
Connected to msc_nm.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.
bsc#

Why is that ?
Any help is FULLY APPRECIATED
