Hi Guys,

I'm quite new to the trader voice market but have been tasked with researching ETC as our chosen hoot provider.

Can anyone provide any information/feedback/experiences using the ETC Viper hoot system or any other providers.

Thanks.

ETC is a reputable and expert provider in this niche. They are a specialist and as such are open to customize their products to suit your requirements.
The other company whose primary focus is standalone speaker/hoot n holler solutions is Speakerbus (based in the UK). Speakerbus is the larger of the two companies and tends toward serving the multinationals whereas ETC's customer base is more US domestic firms with many branches.
The turret manufacturer's like IPC, BT, Orange and Wesley Clover Solutions all have speaker products in their portfolio as well but these are (generally) bundled with their turret platform.
ETC's strength is multi-location hoot n holler that is independent of the turret or PBX system. It can deployed either over leased circuits or your company WAN (multicast over Cisco routers and MPLS connections). They have a mature network of installation and support partners in just about every city that could be considered a financial center.
