one of our workstations will not start up. I have tried to do an fsck on all the default filesystems, /dev/hd3 is full of errors. Afterwards i did another reboot and got to error code 518, which usually means that /etc/filesystems is corrupt. I really need to get the user's filesystem mounted to make a reliable copy of his data. Is there any way to repair /etc/filesystems?
