Hi,
We’ve a few customers with a VMWare installation, some customers have ESXI installed on a SD card. There is a problem with that, HP Gen 8/9 lose access to device backing boot filesystem.
So the solution is to upgrade the ILO, but ILO is not configured for this customers, so we’ve no remote access to ILO.
How do I know with customers has ESXI installed on a SD card? In VSPhere, storage, I cannot see the SD card. We’ve remote access to the servers and can login with SSH. Is there a command available so we can check if a SD card is installed, so we can fix this problem?
If I can check if a SD card is installed, I can make an inventory of customers who the SD card is installed.
Thanks.
