Any idea why the license would show Obsolete?

On R10.1 the license shows Valid, when I upgrade to R11.1 I get the Obsolete Error.

ACSS

Because its an R10 Essential license. You'll need to upgrade it to an R11 license to be able to upgrade the system software!

Contact your busines partner to sort the license and the upgrade out.

jamie77: I am pretty sure I upgraded our in-house R10.1 System to R11 without an upgrade Licenses. It has been forever so I am not 100% sure.

Well you must have had a R10.1 system running on R11 licenses before then, that is possible to allow for an upgrade.

Users licenses among other are also tied to software version. Licenses need to upgraded properly through your Business Partner/Avaya to work.

10.1 to 11 anything is a paid upgrade.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

Perhaps I was confused and the free upgrade was from R10.0 to R10.1 [reading]

ACSS

Yes R10.0 to R10.1 is free as is R11 to R11.1... but R10.1 to R11 is not free. Avaya does like making things confusing.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Thanks gents. Minor brain fart over here.
