A friend of mine told me that he heard that Vue and Microsoft were putting essay questions into exams starting with 291.Just wondering if it was true and if anyone has heard anything or encountered this recently

Do you have anything to substantiate this? An email from Vue or Microsoft?
I find it difficult to believe that there would be essay questions on a MCSE exam for 2 reasons.
#1: What would be the subject matter? Explain the principle of subnetting? (as an example)
#2: Who would score the essay answers and when would they do it? Microsoft has always been consistent with providing pass/fail status at the end of an exam. Essay questions would need to be read and evaluated by a qualified person, and probably would not be done by the end of the exam.
I just don't see how this would be feasible or necessary, but it's an interesting idea.

No I dont have an e-mail,it was just hearsay from a friend. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard it.I tried to look on the vue and microsoft sites and found nothing.
