In my switch you can Dial 8 or 9 to get an external line. In load 86 how do only allow people to dial 8 and no longer dial 9 to get an external line?

Not sure what that is either. I was kinda hopping for step by step instructions.

I'm not sure you can chg that or not

LD 86
CHG
ESN
AC1 8
AC2 X8

I don't know if that will fly or if you'll get sch code

I think you have to do the chg twice. First time enter X9 at the AC1 prompt and X8 at the AC2 prompt and enter all the way home. Then do the chg again and enter 8 at the AC1 prompt and enter al the way home.

X didn't work. I did a change and where AC1 was I put a boggus or different # (1611) as AC1.

Go to ld 11

req : prt
type : ludn

Take an unused DN. Go to ld 86

In the ESN data block change the AC1 to the number you got from ld 11. This will free up the 9. You can then assign the 9 to AC2
