I cannot PRT, OUT or ADD a certain exchange in ld 90. It gives me errors either ESM072 or ESM072.

Normally if an exchange isnt loaded in the PBX when i dial, it gives a fast busy. This particular exchange (956) is wierd because it lets me dial the whole number, but i get **your call has not been completed as dialed.** But it is the correct number, and i can dial it from my cell phone.

What am I doing wrong?

Nick

If you meant 'ESN072', then see below from the books:

ESN0072 NPA, NXX, etc., specified, already exists.
Action:
Severity: Info. Critical to Monitor: No. SNMP trap: No

If the first err should read 'ESN071', then here is the description of that message:

ESN0071 NPA, NXX, etc., specified, does not exist.
Action:
Severity: Info. Critical to Monitor: No. SNMP trap: No

Someone may have programmed your switch with a version of that NPA with a different length than the others. You can try guessing, or just print out the entire list, and search through the results to find the actual entry that is being used.

Yes sorry, ESN072

But when i try to OUT the exchange and start fresh, I get:

ESN073 "Conflict with another (NPA, NXX, ect.)"
Action: Enter new SPN number

Im not sure what that means

It may be in as an spn or an npa. Do like allen said and print them all.

If what you are looking for is 1234 just print 123 or 12. Do both spn and npa.
