ESI 50L Line Volume Problem

I am a relatively new ESI dealer. I recently installed a 50-L System in an auto repair shop, which is quite noisy. To hear properly, some of the users must crank up the handset volume to its highest setting. This works just great except for line five. On line five with the volume maxed out, there's extreme distortion and almost crackling. This is an intermittent problem. If using the phone in speakerphone mode, there's no problem. ESI has sent me a completely new KSU and 482 card, as well as new software. None of this made any difference. With the prior phone system this line was not a problem. Any ideas?

Swap line 5 with another and see if problem follows.
