How often do "dirty pages" from ESE cache get written to transaction logs? What is the mechanism that triggers it? I was curious based on the fact that since RAM is utilized to reduce IO, at what point will these pages be written, I assume its got to be fairly dynamic and fluid as to reduce any form of data loss probability but I have yet to find specific information on it.

Thanks for lookin!

If it's not a full 1MB of data (constituting a normal TL), Exchange will flush it to a log after 15 minutes.

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

Awesome, thank you very much! Could you possibly point me to some documentation that would have more details as well?

Thanks again, its been nagging me for a while now.
