Hi,

I have a HP 2200 printer that looks to be set to 64 lines per page but i want to set it to 66. I am playing with Esc codes but if i enter two lines of Esc codes at the top of my text file the printer accepts them and does what is told but prints two blank lines where my escape codes were. Thus making the job start 2 lines lower down the page. Hope this makes sense!

Any help would be appreciated.

That is exactly the expected behavior. You have added two lines, but the escape code are interpreted by the printer and do not mark the paper. The line feeds are real and the printer executes them giving you the blank lines.

Insert the escape codes on at the beginning of the original first line with no embedded linefeeds.
