ESA setup question

Currently I have NARS/BARS for 9+911 and 9+11 for emergency calls as follows:

PBX using x21 Rel 4.5

For user dialed 9+11:
SPN 11 ?------------ when user dial 9+11
FLEN 0
RLI 11
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

RLI 11
ENTR 0
LTER NO
ROUT 2 ?-------------- route the call to analog COT
TOD 0 ON 1 ON 2 ON 3 ON
4 ON 5 ON 6 ON 7 ON
CNV NO
EXP NO
FRL 0
DMI 1
FCI 0
FSNI 0
SBOC NRR
CBQ NO

DMI 1 ?-------------- insert 9 for 911 calls
DEL 0
ISPN NO
INST 9
CTYP NCHG

For users dialed 9+911
SPN 911 ?------------- when users dialed 9+911
FLEN 0
INPL NO
RLI 0
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

RLI 0
ENTR 0
LTER NO
ROUT 2 ?--------------- route the call to analog COT
TOD 0 ON 1 ON 2 ON 3 ON
4 ON 5 ON 6 ON 7 ON
CNV NO
EXP NO
FRL 0
DMI 0
FCI 0
FSNI 0
SBOC NRR
CBQ NO

Now, I want to setup ESA in LD 24 so I can capture OSN information from maintenance terminal and history file.

I setup a new route #10 and new RLI 21 with 2 analog COT as follows:

RLI 21
ENTR 0
LTER YES ?--------------- set LTER to Yes
ROUT 10 ?--------------- new route for 911 call
TOD 0 ON 1 ON 2 ON 3 ON
4 ON 5 ON 6 ON 7 ON
CNV NO
EXP NO
FRL 0
DMI 0
FCI 0
FSNI 0
SBOC NRR
CBQ NO

My questions are:
In LD24, what is ESDN should setup? Is 911 or 9911?

Do I need to setup another RLI/DMI for users dialed 9+11, still having OSN output to maintenance terminal?

for 9+911 you need a dedicated rli. at the lter prompt, you would answer yes. You may need a dmi table that makes sure call type remains spn.

This routes it back to esa as if the caller only dialed 911.

If I setup 2 RLI, one for dial 911 with LTER - Yes and DMI insert 9, and other RLI for dial 9911 with LTER - Yes, what s ESDN I should setup in ESDN? Is 911 or 9911?

Your ESDN should be 911.

The ESDN is the Emergency Services DN - What users dial to get to the PSAP. This overrides the 11 entry in your SPN table, so you can get rid of that.

You should then build an SPN entry for 911 (User dialed AC1 or AC2 + 911) with LTER=YES. This will send the digits 911 back to the pbx for processing, where they will be recognized as the ESDN, and processed according to your LD 24 programming.

All this is spelled out in the ESA book, FWIW.

Wonderful! It exactly answer I needed to relief my concern, thanks!
