ERS 5500 v6.1.6 upgrade - DON'T DO IT! 1

There are issues with the latest ERS 5500 6.1.6 code upgrade. I have personally had to rebuild the two switches I did, and others have experienced the same issue.

Avaya has confirmed the software issue and say it has to do with a wrong VLACP pointer.

Others state that the issue is showing up on switches that did not start out with 6.x code.

Thanks for the warning. I was considering upgrading some switches in my office to 6.1.6 "just because". I'll leave them on 6.1.2 for a while longer.

My standard currently is 6.1.4; I have also heard that 6.1.5 does not have issues.
